Easter holiday fun

Welcome to an Easter break at sea! Our Easter egg is filled to the brim with activities for both crafty and curious sailors. Every day, the craft table aboard the destroyer Småland is set up with creative Easter crafts. Let your imagination run wild and create a delightful piece of art to take home with you.

The younger recruits are welcome to join us on a playful fairy tale walk among the ships, an exciting tour that mixes facts and fiction. For those who want to know more about Maritiman's armada and life on board, we offer a guided ship walk - while the true history geek might prefer a guided tour aboard the destroyer Småland for more in-depth information. At 2PM every day, the children's favorites Virvelina or Tim shows cool experiments to be inspired by, and the rest of the day you can experiment on your own in Tim's ocean lab.

Visit the highly topical exhibition Meanwhile in Ukraine, which portrays the ongoing conflict from Ukraine's perspective. It is based on material from the National Museum of Ukraine's History in World War II and shows museum photographer Olena Shovkoplias's touching photos from Kiev on March 8, 2022. New for the season is the standalone continuation, Meanwhile in Mariupol, where poignant stories of life in and escape from the war-torn port city in southeastern Ukraine are displayed. Over 23 fateful days in the spring of 2022, journalist Viacheslav Tverdokhlib documented the Russian occupation of his hometown through the lens of his camera.

After exploring all the ships, boats and barges, hungry stomachs then saturate best on board the café Matrosen. We are open for Easter break from March 29 to April 7, between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Check the daily program below to navigate your visit effectively. Tickets can be purchased directly on-site or, preferably, online - where we can always guarantee you our best price.

Very welcome on board!
